Turkeye Rallye - 11/19/06
 

Our club was happy to join the MG Car Club (aka "the B Club") in their annual Turkey Run & Rallye.  The cold 49 degree day didn't faze the hearty A drivers and our club comprised  4 of the 6  cars that showed up. Following a nice route through Woodbridge and Alexandria (and past Bill Marshall's boyhood home), our club members captured the top 2 slots.  Liz Ten Eyck, unencumbered by a navigator, grabbed 1st place in her gorgeous 1961 Mark II. In second place was Amy Rothberg and navigator Kathy Kallapos in Amy's not-as-gorgeous-but-nevertheless-well-loved 1960 1600. A bowl of hot soup at Panera's was a welcome end to a fun day.
